Selling your home
Selling your home — with someone who knows the place.
Long and broad experience, combined with the best possible exposure in the right channels, makes sure you achieve the best possible price. Your agent looks after you through the entire sale.
- 1
We come to your home
Inspection
We walk through the property with you to map its possibilities, challenges and the most likely buyers. The agent notes the details later used in the marketing — and a surveyor assesses the property technically and measures it.
- 2
Easy to understand
Engagement agreement
You should know what you are paying for. The agreement follows Norwegian law, consumer-authority guidelines and the Norwegian Association of Real Estate Agents — and sets out terms, commission and expenses.
- 3
As many viewers as possible
Marketing
We collect municipal charges, zoning maps, land register data and information from the housing manager, and book the surveyor and photographer while you get the home ready for sale.
- 4
Details matter
Viewing and bidding
Your agent advises you before the viewing, follows up everyone who downloaded the prospectus and arrives well prepared. In the bidding round we work to involve as many bidders as possible — so you achieve the price the market is willing to pay.
- 5
No loose ends
Contract meeting
You receive the draft contract and bid log in advance. We find a date that suits you, go through the contracts and answer any questions before everything is signed.
- 6
The keys change hands
Handover
Purchase price and costs are confirmed received in the agent's client account. You walk through the home together, read the electricity meter, and the seller hands over the keys. The protocol is signed on paper or digitally.
Good to know
Safe, clear — and completely local.
A tailored strategy
Every home has its own character — the sales strategy is set after we have inspected the property.
Bidding
A bidding round can be stressful. With us you can be sure your agent does their best to involve as many bidders as possible, so you achieve the highest price the market will pay.
Interest insurance
Interest insurance, included in the Boligkjøperpakken, covers mortgage interest and home insurance on your old home for up to 9 months — if the sale takes longer than expected.
Moving services
A little help, or all the help you could wish for. Partners for cleaning, moving transport and storage make moving easier.
Moving tips
Congratulations — your home is sold.
Think through the details before the contract meeting: which handover date suits you? Is there furniture the buyer might want to buy? Does the buyer need to visit before handover?
- 1Start packing in good time, ideally 2–3 weeks before moving.
- 2Don't pack heavier than you can lift — boxes should not weigh more than 30 kg. About one shelf-metre of books weighs 30 kg.
- 3Put the heaviest items at the bottom, the lightest on top.
- 4Wrap glass and china in white paper. Avoid newspaper, which stains.
- 5Fill every gap with paper and label boxes with contents and room.
- 6Keep screws from dismantled furniture in labelled bags, together in one box.
- 7Don't pack in plastic bags. Buy bubble wrap for pictures and valuables.
